The Pickup Mansion has now been
running for 3 years, and we've had tremendous results!
Every single resident has gotten laid,
two residents lost their virginity, two residents got married, and dry
spells as long as 2.5 years have been broken. Two graduates have become coaches for Underground Dating Seminar, the
hardest coaching job to get in the entire industry.
We've now worked out all of the kinks
in our system, and this FAQ will help you understand exactly what
you're signing up for and how to get a room in the house.
How long will I live at the Pickup
Mansion?
We now have a house for month to month students, and another house for students who stay a full year. You can move to the monthly house for-

How does this program compare to a
normal UDS workshop?
While all students
gain massive improvement in workshops, most people can benefit from a
more complete, long term solution. Glenn and I have been teaching
workshops for years, and we found that there are some students who
take a workshop, then do very little practicing in the next few
months, and then they come sign up for a 2nd workshop, and
show very little improvement from last time.
This is how we
discovered that some students need a consistent program to improve.
By training these students every month, we can save them from “moving
backwards” on their journey. The amount of improvement you can
experience if your game is always going forwards, and rarely goes
backwards, is far more than what you can gain in one workshop.
What kinds of different rooms do you
have? How many houses are there?
We currently have
2 houses. Here's a few pictures I took with my camera phone.
We have a variety of rooms and coaching packages available in both houses. We have rooms ranging from the small and basic to the mega-pimped out luxury suite.
When are rooms available?
We have rooms
coming up for rent throughout the year. So apply now if you want a
room. We typically have multiple candidates whenever a room becomes
available.
What kind of cool stuff is in the
house?
Both houses have
the following amenities:

What kind of activities do residents
attend?
Our students take
a workshop every month, attend weekly theory sessions, and are assigned to a "mansion buddy" who you can stay in touch with and learn the ropes from.
Can I work a job while at Pickup
Mansion?
Yes, most
residents work a job or work from home. All of our activities are
optional. Residents are free to travel, work, and to come and go as
they please. We advocate a balanced lifestyle which includes career,
hobbies, friends, and pickup. The Pickup Mansion is not a 24/7 Pickup
Prison, it's a supportive self help environment.
What kinds of jobs do most students
have? What if I have to look for a job in LA?
We have a lot of
IT guys who work from home. We've also had a fitness instructor, and
engineer, a writer, college students, a bartender, professional poker
players, entrepreneurs, a doctor....our students have many
occupations.
It's not unusual
for our students to move from far from home with no job waiting for them.
They just save up some money, and take the leap of faith. Most have
ended up with better, higher paying jobs than they had in the life
they left behind.
How often do the residents go out to
work on their game?
We have 9 students
in the program right now. Some go out as much as 7 days a week at
times. It really depends what the coaches want them working on. For
some students, who are working on inner game or identity, we prefer
that they go out only 1-3 nights per week, and then raise that to 4-7
nights a week when these problems have been handled.
The coaches
and I treat every student as an individual, and use a holistic
approach to coaching them. We don't just blanket the whole group with
generic, impersonal advice like “Go out and practice every night.”
What if I want to stay for more than
12 months?
At the end of the
year, you can bring this up to Jake and I, and if we think there is
more work to be done, and results will be improved by working
together more, we will approve a longer stay.
What is the cost of living in Pickup
Mansion?
There are
different kinds of rooms and different coaching packages, and prices
vary accordingly. Before you start thinking about what Pickup Mansion
costs, first think about what's included:

If you tried
setting this up on your own, you'd spend about $70,000 and it would
take about 4 months to set up.
If you move to
Pickup Mansion, you will pay a lot less than that, and everything
will be already set up for you. You'll pay monthly rent, like any
other apartment you've ever lived in, and all of your bills will be
already paid. No more water bill. No more cable bill. Just one easy
rent payment.

Why is your application so long?
I personally read
every application that comes in within 48 hours. I know every single
guy in Pickup Mansion personally. I need to know as much as I can
right away about you. A lot of the application is standard
information that would be asked of you for any apartment you wanted
to move into. If you can't be responsible enough to get through the
application, you're probably not a good candidate for this program.
What can I do to make sure that I
get picked for a room?
Take a workshop or
1on1 with us so we know who you are and what your game is like. About
80% of our Pickup Mansion residents took a UDS training before moving
in. It's nice to have guys moving in who we already have some working
relationship with.
If that's not
possible for you, you should become an active member of the 30/30
Club.
Just like many
other things in life, getting into Pickup Mansion is about “who you
know.” If you already know Glenn, Jake, or any of my coaches, and
they give you a positive recommendation, you're almost certain to be
chosen.
If you've made a
good impression on the 30/30 coaches, that will help.
Is it possible to get selected if I
have not been to a workshop?
Yes. There are
times when I choose guys based on the phone interview. That's where
the other 20% come from.
Do I have to have awesome game to be
chosen?
No. All we want is
people who have a good attitude about learning, a high level of
dedication, and bring positive energy to their housemates. Your
pre-exisiting skill level has nothing to do with the selection
process. After 3 months of the program, all of our students obtain
impressive levels of game, so we don't really care what their game
looks like in the beginning.
Is this a reality TV show, a
sweepstakes, or some kind of free event?
No. I often get
asked that, and I don't know where that idea is coming from.
Like all UDS
events, we refuse to allow any media coverage. This is not
entertainment, it's serious self help.
It's not TV and
it's not free. We've invested over a million dollars to get
the best houses, the best logistics, the best décor, and the best
coaches. No one rides for free. If you're looking for a handout or a
TV show, you've come to the wrong place.
If you're looking
for a focused, supportive, and luxurious environment where you can
become ten times the man you are today, then look no further. You're
exactly the kind of guy I want in the Pickup Mansion.
